Triple play networking
Combining America’s Favorite Pastime with Local Business Communities
The Triple Play Networking Group (TPNG) is a new venture started by an old association:
The Association of Professional Ball Players of America
The APBPA is a 501c3 formed in 1924. That’s when 12 former MLB baseball players, including Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, gathered in Los Angeles, California, along with first baseball Commissioner Hon. Judge Kenesaw Mountain Landis. Together, they determined there was a need to assist the less fortunate members of the baseball profession.
In the nearly-hundred-year history, the APBPA has included more than 101,500 members and has provided temporary financial assistance to thousands of current and former professional players, coaches, umpires, scouts, and trainers.
The TRIPLE PLAY NETWORKING GROUP unites the APBPA’s membership of current and former professional baseball players with leaders and business professionals within their local communities.
TPNG is a nationwide effort designed to provide an environment of:
- Unity
- Cooperation
- Resource Sharing
- Growth and
- Business Development
Join our effort to be a part of TPNG. Make a difference within our local communities while at the same time supporting the APBPA’s philanthropic mission of Ballplayers Helping Ballplayers.
